I have always tried, and hopefully succeeded,

to be a polite, considerate and confident person.

I feel this is why I was drawn to the Cheongye

Kwan and the teachings of Master Cook in

particular. My personality, I feel, hasn't significantly

changed but my outlook and willingness to admit to,

and deal with, personal flaws is something that has.

I feel more responsibility to set an example and

help my fellow students. It is also the first time I

have had the opportunity to teach which I have

found satisfying. Seeing a student grow and learn

with your help is a very rewarding experience

and I feel I have a better understanding of what

motivates (and what frustrates!) my instructor and

all teachers the world over.
